Help Me Save My Family: Urgent Evacuation from Gaza

Donation protected
My name is Mohamed Jaser, and I am originally from northern Gaza but currently living in Belgium. My heart is heavy as I reach out for help.

I have 12 beloved family members trapped in Gaza: my parents, two sisters, two brothers, my older brother and his wife, and my big sister with her two little ones—a four-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy.

The situation is dire, and I’m focusing on getting 8 of them to safety: my parents, two sisters, two brothers,
and my older brother with his wife.

The conflict and dangerous situation are too much to bear, and I'm working tirelessly to get them to safety.
My goal is to take them out of Gaza and transfer them to Egypt temporarily, with the intention of eventually bringing them back together with me in Belgium. If you're able, could you help me save my family and give them a chance to escape the danger they're facing?
We value your support more than anything else.

I am currently unemployed as I have recently settled in Belgium. Since the war began on October 7th, I haven't been able to sleep. I've been suffering from insomnia and can't focus on my personal matters or private life.
My world has been turned upside down as I worry about my family trapped in the heart of the conflict.

Every time I wake up to news of bombing, killing, and destruction, I feel overwhelmed with anxiety and rush to call them to check on their safety and whether they are still alive. But alas, even calling has become impossible.
I keep checking news through online newspapers and television, desperately searching for any hint that reassures me about their well-being.

The situation is dire with no electricity, connection, fuel, water, or food, which leaves me emotionally devastated.
My fear of losing my family grows with each passing day.
The war in the Gaza Strip has been ongoing for eight months, targeting civilians, and daily genocides are occurring.
My family is struggling in these horrific conditions, and the sense of helplessness is unbearable.

At the beginning of the war, my family displaced multiple times from the north and then to the south, seeking refuge in tents in Rafah. Then, we learned that our house had been bombed and our neighborhood destroyed. The home we had lived in for over 24 years is now gone, and we are left homeless.
They were then displaced to Al Mawasy in Khan Younes after the tents of displaced people were targeted,
resulting in over 45 deaths and more than 200 injuries. Currently, there is no safe place for them to live or go, and they are sharing a tiny space with a large number of people.

My parents are elderly. My mother needs medication for high blood pressure and diabetes, but now there are no medicines available.
Their situation is worsening as they suffer from nutritional deficiencies due to a lack of food, and I am deeply worried about them.
They are not getting the basic necessities of life, such as food and sleep. The constant sounds of bombs and explosions terrify them, forcing them to flee from place to place in search of safety.
They can't find any medication or anything to wear in this cold weather, and they keep getting sick where they don't have access to health care.

Many of my family members have been killed. On October 18, 2023, I lost more than 40 family members in Jabaliya camp. Their four-floor house was bombed while they were inside, and none of them survived. Tragically, the family was completely wiped out, including children. The youngest was only two months old.

I have a well-educated and successful family.

  • My mother and My father is retired.
  • Naji Jaser, 33 years old, has a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education.
  • Israa, Naji's wife, is expected to be in her third year at university, majoring Graphic Design.
  • Watan Jaser, 22 years old, is expected to be in her third year at university, majoring in Accounting.
  • Marah Jaser, 20 years old, is expected to be in her first year at university.
  • Karam Jaser, 18 years old, was expected to be completing her final year of high school in the Scientific branch.
  • Karim Jaser, 15 years old, is currently in secondary school.

Please help me collect the application fees and travel costs for 8 people.
