A beautiful service for Paula McKenzie

Loving, funny, vivacious, humble and kind, Paula’s joyful light shone bright—and she always shared it. Paula welcomed and helped everyone she could whenever she could. She never met a stranger and her gregarious nature drew people to her wherever she went.
For more than 20 years, rheumatoid arthritis slowly weakened and wore down Paula’s body. She handled it gracefully, smiling even during brutal days of pain and finding joy wherever she could. On June 4th, her heart finally gave out and Paula left the mortal world to join her grandchildren, Cameron and Camberlynn, in heaven. We are grateful that she’s no longer in pain, but we will forever miss the light and the joy she brought to our lives.
As we mourn Paula and celebrate her life, our family is also trying to cover the cost of her cremation. The medication for Paula’s disease was costly, with most of her money going to cover many medical expenses over the years. Now we’re hoping to give Paula the rest she’s earned and to honor her memory. Thank you for your generosity.
