A beautiful soul lost way too soon

Yesterday we received the devastating news of our sweet friends passing. Ashley went into the hospital Thanksgiving week due do shortness of breath and swelling/pain in her extremities. She just kept getting increasingly worse after being diagnosed with covid a while back. She always complained that her lungs just hurt and she felt so bad for so long. She finally couldn’t take it anymore and went to the hospital. Once there, they found that she has multiple blood clots in her legs and lungs and her lungs were not functioning great at all. They started her blood thinners, and tried multiple, but nothing seemed to work like they hoped. She continued to get worse, her breathing was more and more labored and she was working too hard, so the decision was made to intubate her. Ashely really didn’t want to but agreed despite her fears. Unfortunately, every time they tried to wean her down she couldn’t tolerate it and they would have to put her back up. There was very little she was doing on her own, but we stayed optimistic and believed she would come out of this, that she just needed time to rest and gain strength. Yesterday morning her mother called and gave the news none of us really expected. She took a turn for the worst and they were unable to revive her. Ashely is a mother to three beautiful girls, she is a loving spouse, a daughter, a sister, and a best friend. She was selfless, she always did for everyone, she was the backbone to her family. She put everyone else’s needs before her own, she was loyal and devoted, she loved hard, and she was a bright light diminished way too soon. Unfortunately, she didn’t have life insurance and now her spouse and family are scrambling trying to figure out how to give her a proper service and way for her babies to mourn her and send her home respectfully. Justin is now going to be raising three girls on his own and I would just like to help them navigate through all of this and not have them worry about her funeral. These baby girls have lost an aunt, an uncle, and now their mother in a year. We are devastated, we are lost, and more importantly we are determined to make this as easy as possible and make sure these girls are taken care of. Its Christmas, they haven’t seen their mom in almost a month. Ashely always made sure her kids were well taken care of and I would like to give them that still. Any funds received will go directly to funeral expense and ideally I would love to be able to put some up for the girls. Any help would be so appreciated. I want the girls and Justin and her family to be able to mourn, to have a proper goodbye, and to make sure those girls are taken care of as much as can and I know that Justin would be forever grateful. I want these kids to be ok, to not go without, to be able to mourn their mother properly and to help ease any burdens for this family that we can.
