Update from Wednesday the 26th of April 

With the help from Tanana Chief Conference, Fairbanks Native Association, UAF & Kwik Inc (plus many others not mentioned) we have a tentative date of Monday May 1, 2023 to hold a memorial for Kayla Kugtsun at the Tribal Hall at Fairbanks, AK (time to be determined). This is not an official date but we will keep everyone informed. We will be heading home to Kwigillingok for funeral afterwards. Quyana cakneq tamarpeci from Kugtsun/Atti family ❤️

Hello, my name is Alethea David on behalf of my family the Kugstun's and Atti's I have created this GoFundMe page for them.On the 23rd of April 2023 our family endured an unexpected tragic loss of our friend, sister, niece, aunt, daughter and granddaughter Kayla Cikiigaq Kugstun.

Kayla is the daughter of Andrew (originally from Kipnuk, AK) and the late Gwendolyn Yuktaq (originally from Kwigillingok, AK) Kugstun. Kayla would have been 26 years young this coming June.

This has been unexpected tragedy the GoFundMe will help with any and all expenses for Kayla's family. Like travel (airfare Fairbanks -where Kayla lived, Anchorage to Bethel to Kwigillingok, Alaska round trip costs), food, funeral costs (the casket, airfare for transportation of casket) and any and all expenses that entail for Kayla to be laid to rest in her hometown of Kwigillingok, AK.

All the GoFundMe donations are going directly to Kayla's Aunt Diane Aryak Atti.
