A service dog for William
Tax deductible
Recently Will communicated to us, by playing music from the movie 'The Biscuit Eater', that he would like a best friend, a dog.
Will has a profound form of autism that impacts nearly every aspect of his daily life. He is unable to verbally communicate and has significant sensory and social differences than his neurotypical peers. He has participated in special education and various therapies since his initial diagnosis at 18 months old. A properly trained service dog candidate would be an amazing gift to Will- a therapeutic anchor to aid him with independence, companionship, self-regulation, physical safety and more. Autism is hard, and we applaud the strength and resilience that Will's demonstrated overcoming so many obstacles and pray that he has every shot at a fulfilled life with purpose and belonging.
Thanks to the Snowy Pine's Paws for Purpose program for the opportunity to raise funds as we wait for the perfect pooch to join our family- and thank you for your support!
