Help support Lori Ammerman’s final journey & assist sons

On Friday October 4, Lori Ammerman was unexpectedly taken from her family. Lori was a very hands on, loving mom to her 3 boys, as well as their spouses and absolutely adored every minute she got to spend with her granddaughter. Her life revolved around 2 things: her love for Jesus and her family.
Lori had the biggest heart. If you knew her, you loved her. She was a second mom to so many, an unwavering source of advice and support and the person you always knew had your back. Distance was no deterrence for Lori’s love. The passing of Lori has left a huge hole in the hearts of her family, and all who knew her. It is incredibly hard for anyone to come to grips, or even try to understand how she is no longer here. Even more than that, to add the struggle of making sure Lori’s medical bills and final wishes can be met, as well as maintain the ranch she loved so much, is a daunting task to take on, while grieving.
This GoFundMe has been set up with the blessing, and on behalf of the family for all of those who have asked what they can do to help, and hope to help the family give Lori the love and a service she deserves, as well as take her to her final resting places.
Once all of her final expenses are paid,
the family hopes to make a memorial on the ranch to keep her with them. Lori’s parents and brother, Marc are laid to rest in a family burial plot on Cape Cod Massachusetts. Lori spent so much time as a child there. This was also as they moved away and started their own families, Lori and her brothers would bring their family’s to all be together. Cape Cod was a place of pride, heritage and love, the entire family has the best memories made from time spent together there. The family, and Lori’s wish is to be able to place her large urn with her mom, dad and brother. After this is complete in Cape Cod, the hope is to reunite her with her beloved brother Willie in upstate NY, with a small urn as well. The final leg of this incredible adventure is to eventually be able to take her remains to Hawaii. Hawaii was her happy place and a place of so many happy memories.
All of this is very hard for her 3 boys who are starting out their lives with very young families and new marriages. Everyone knows how financially hard day to day life is, without the added stress of praying you’re making your mom proud and giving her the honor she deserves. All of this, while trying to come to grips with your tremendous loss. The huge outpouring of love for Lori has been such a source of comfort to her family, as hard as it is to ask, if you can financially help in any way, it would be appreciated beyond words. If you are looking for some way to help, this is one way, as well as, for the celebration of life Oct 24, the family will be asking in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the adoption service that Lori held so close to her heart, which the family will share once details have been confirmed. Please know, even if you cannot financially help your love and support have been tremendous and the family is holding every person who is grieving the loss of Lori in their thoughts and prayers..
