A Brave Woman Rescues Disabled Dogs in Ukraine

Donation protected
Nastya  is the woman who walked several miles with a pack of disabled dogs to move them from a local shelter to a safer location. The Wall Street Journal's Photographer, Christopher Occhicone , captured this heroic photo that went viral. Despite the shelling, there is always a place for acts of kindness.

In addition to dogs and cats, a chameleon, a turtle, a hamster and even a spider were also rescued!  4 dogs got lost and are still missing!

Dog Shelter Beneficiaries:
  • 50% of the proceeds go to Nastya, the brave woman's shelter House of "Special" Tails ( Instagram  @dom.khvostov ) which provides foster care, food, medical and spinal care for animals under their care including cats, dogs and disabled dogs.
  • 50% of the proceeds go to Animal Protection "Bun" Charitable Association ( Instagram  @snezhana_zahist_tvarin ) where Nastya volunteers, which provides adoption services, foster care, food, emergency surgery, medical treatment, assistance to other local shelters, and safe transport of animals saved from the war to other countries.
