A Bridge of Hope

I need a Bridge. A Bridge of Hope

Hi, on Saturday the 13th of January, 2024 I had a diabetic episode and was found on the floor unresponsive and suffered a lack of oxygen. I was then in a coma for 4 days. I woke up on the 17th totally disoriented and scared to death, weak, and didn’t understand what had happened. The dreams were wild! Actually texted a couple of people that I had been kidnapped by Ancient Alien Warriors and was in a scary hospital!!

The folks in the ICU in Christus St Vincent Hospital, here in Santa Fe said the first thing I asked about was my dog, Wyatt. I miss Wyatt more than I can say. I have been in rehab for almost 3 weeks now. I’ve been working very hard and may be discharged next week.

My cognitive and physical abilities still have a ways to go. I am applying for help but that takes more time than I have. That is where the Bridge of Hope comes in.

I need time to recover and a place Wyatt I can be together. I can’t believe I have not been able to hug him or see him in almost 3 weeks. I lost the work/projects I had going and my little studio. No one knew if I was even going to make it much less be able to work. It didn’t look good.

I’ve calculated what I think I need to have a safe recovery zone for 2 to 3 months and am trying to raise at least $15,000. I know that’s a lot and you all have things to do but if you can help in any way, you are saving my life.

Getting back to Florida had been my plan but that is for another day I guess.

With all my love and thanks, Marie
