Emergency Relief: Support Gaza Families!
Spende geschützt
Dear Supporters,
Last Friday, March 15th, all six family members safely reached Egypt, albeit with nothing to their name. This incredible achievement was made possible solely through your support and generosity. We cannot express enough gratitude for your indispensable role in this journey.
However, their journey is far from over. They need assistance to rebuild their lives, including essentials like food and shelter until the war subsides. Additionally, we cannot forget about their family members still trapped in Northern Gaza, facing ongoing danger and uncertainty.
We've updated our fundraising goal to reflect the urgent need to assist families starting from scratch. Please refer to our latest update for a breakdown of how the funds will be allocated.
Your continued support is invaluable to us. Please share our story and contribute whatever you can. Together, we can make a real difference in these families' lives.
If you're curious about how the funds will be distributed among the families, please check out our latest update for a breakdown of allocations.
With heartfelt thanks,
Fatima

Hello, I'm Fatima,
In my previous post, I was reaching out for evacuation, and now I'm here to ask for urgent relief.
Dear Supporters,
Your incredible generosity has brought us one step closer to ensuring the safety of 6 family members amidst the attacks in Gaza. Thanks to your support, we have successfully secured spots for the 6 family members on the evacuation list.
However, our mission is far from complete. As we eagerly await their evacuation, the reality remains that they, along with the 3 family members still trapped in the dangerous northern region of Gaza, are in urgent need of our continued support. Their home, once a place of comfort and security, now lies partially destroyed by bombings, leaving them vulnerable and in desperate need of aid.
With your ongoing generosity, we can provide essential support to both the 6 family members awaiting evacuation and the 3 who are bravely enduring the harsh conditions of northern Gaza. Every donation will go towards providing shelter, food, medical care, and other critical resources to ensure their safety and well-being during this diffcult time.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these resilient individuals and offer them hope for a brighter, more secure future.
Thank you for standing with us in solidarity and compassion.

Previous Post:
Hello, I'm Fatima, and I'm reaching out with a sense of urgency!
My friend Shrouq and her family are currently sheltering in Rafah, Gaza. Their homes have been destroyed, they've lost their jobs, and now they're facing imminent danger.
This is all that remains of my friend Shrouq's home, where she lived with her husband and baby. Her brother, Osama also resided in the same apartment block.
This is what remains of the apartment where Shrouq's sister, Haya and her husband lived.
Shrouq's family comprises 10 members, including Shrouq, her husband, and their baby son. There are also her parents, her brother (Osama, who was mentioned before), her elder sister, her younger sister (Haya, mentioned previously), and their spouses. Unfortunately, her mother, elder sister, and elder sister's husband are currently stuck in Northern Gaza.
They attempted to follow the government's advice to relocate southward, but the journey proved too dangerous to continue. Consequently, they were forced to retreat and are now confined to their bombed home in the north.
Their situation is incredibly challenging; they are effectively besieged in the north and unable to move southward due to the hazardous conditions. Currently, they are residing in what's left of their bombed house. While we remain hopeful of finding a solution for their safety, at present, our hands are tied, and there's little we can do.
Shrouq's father was evacuated due to injuries, which turned out to be a good thing given the circumstances.
Shrouq, and her husband, driven by the escalating violence in Gaza, decided to seek refuge in Egypt until the aggression subsides, hoping to find safety alongside her baby son, younger brother, sister, and sister's husband. They managed to move south. It wasn't an easy decision, as we were all hoping for a ceasefire. We watched alongside the world, but instead of peace, the aggression intensified. So, here we are.
Right now, our main focus is on raising funds to evacuate five family members. Osama has already managed to secure the funds needed for his own evacuation and is actively working on getting his name on the evacuation list.
Despite following government directives and relocating to the south of Gaza, they find themselves in the line of fire at the Rafah border.
There is no safe place left in Gaza.
We're on a mission to secure their evacuation and ensure their safety.
We urgently need your support to get Shrouq's family out of the danger zone in Gaza and into safety in the neighboring country.
Every contribution, regardless of size, will play a significant role in saving lives.
Every single penny of your contribution is immensely valuable.
Your generosity can provide Shrouq and her family with a chance to rebuild in the face of this crisis.
Thank you sincerely for your support, and if you could help amplify this campaign by sharing, it would be deeply appreciated.
Together, let's make a meaningful impact, ensuring the safety of Shrouq's family, including a precious baby, and bring a ray of hope to their lives, Inshallah!
We want to raise:
€36,000 euros which is approximately $39,000.00 US dollars.
The official Egyptian government agency "Ya Hala" requires $5000 per adult and $2500 for those under 16 years old for safe evacuation. Shrouq's family consists of 5 adults and a baby. While one adult has the funds, the other 4 adults and the baby do not, and we are trying to raise these funds here with your help.
Below is a breakdown of how the funds will be allocated:
- The total amount to be raised is €36000 euros, which is approximately $39,000.00 US dollars.
- The evacuation costs are $20,000 for 4 adults and $2500 for 1 child, totaling $22,500.
- The estimated bank transfer fees are $2,000.
- After subtracting the total expenses from the initial amount raised, we have $6,500 left.
- The remaining funds, $13,500, will be allocated towards essential day-to-day expenses like food, water, and shelter for the family until the conflict subsides.
In the event that this family faces challenges in evacuating, we will utilize the funds to support them until they regain stability. However, we know that others have successfully evacuated using the same agency, so there should be a good chance for them to do so as well.
Every contribution, regardless of size, can make a world of difference! Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network.
Together, we can give Shrouq and her family hope for a brighter future.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
Your solidarity is invaluable – Thank you for standing with us!
Shrouq, Osama, and the rest of the Jarada family!
