A Car for Amazon James

Hi my name is Lisa Laskey, and I am reaching out to you all to help us try to continue to change Amazon James' life.

Just over a year ago we met Amazon James when our 4 month old pup Frannie wanted to see him, when he first delivered our Amazon package. She totally fell in love with him, insisting on seeing and kissing him every single time he delivered to us.

It wasn't long til we all became fast friends. Over time, we learned that James had lost all his bottom teeth to a horrible car accident 15 years ago. He was unable to eat properly for many years, so we set up his dental journey and raised funds to give him back his life and his smile. Thanks to the generosity of our followers, he is almost done with the extensive dental work and has finally been able to enjoy eating regular meals again.

Every day possible, James continues to give his time to being a part of Frannie's life, bringing joy to Frannienation. (Our followers call themselves "Frannienation.")

Every visit he allows us to make videos of their special relationship, which brings joy and love to more than a half million followers. It makes him happy to help others feel happy.

Now we have seen him fall on another hard reality that his car is failing him, so again, we want to try to continue to help change his life by helping him get a new reliable car.

The funds collected for James will be used to purchase the vehicle he chooses. (My husband and I will be available to assist him in shopping for and acquiring whatever vehicle works best for him.) He is 6'6" tall so we hope he will be able to purchase a car that will be comfortable for his size.

If there are funds left over he will be able to use them towards gas and maintenance.

Also, for the love of Frannienation, Frannie will be shopping with James to help him choose the car, and we will be recording video and sharing the journey as it plays out.

We realize there are many greater needs in our world, but we feel that God brought James into our lives to change US for the better, and we love him dearly, so we feel it is a joy and a privilege to do whatever we can for him.

Love thy neighbor. That is what we are doing.
