A car for Mick

As some of you may or may not know, Mick has been on a bit of a journey lately with his health - a diagnosis of cancer of the larynx, which started with radiotherapy. This was unsuccessful, resulting in complete removal of the larynx and he is now receiving ongoing chemotherapy which we are all hoping will get him in the clear. This has all been a really hard time for all of us, especially with Mick living on the other side of Coffs and away from everyone he knows. Last weekend, while driving in Nymboida, Uncle Michael had a car accident and his car was written off. Mick needs transport to get to all of his medical appointments, as well as visiting Suff, Yas and the kids and his other supports in Bellingen. I know it's a really hard time for everyone at the moment, but if there is anything you have to spare, we just need to get Mick a reliable car to get him to all of his appointments and keep him connected with his community to keep his spirits up.
