A Chance for Charley … on behalf of my dear friend, Devon, I am hoping this story reaches a vast number of cheerleaders. Those passionate for horses and stories of unlikely recovery, this one is for you. This baby horse needs a chance.

My sweet little baby horse, Charley, has been at TN Equine Hospital since 10.14.2024….

At just 7 days old, Charley began his fight to survive a tetanus infection. He is showing small signs of improvement, but the cost of his medical care is mounting.

Charley was just a week old when he contracted tetanus. If only we been aware of the risks and preventive measures, we would not be here, helping this sweet baby fight for his life.

He’s so much more than a little horse to me. In the face of our own miscarriages, Charley is a bright spot. Even though Charley is a baby horse, it was doing my heart so much good to spend time with a healthy baby. The tears won’t stop since Charley fell ill. Charley is a ray of sunshine that I am not prepared to lose, and my children definitely cannot lose at this time.

I told my kids today that Christmas won’t be big this year because of the vet bills for Charley. They said as long as Charley was ok and could have a bow for his head - it would be ok ❤️

Any help to assist in Charley’s Chances of Recovery is tremendously appreciated.
