A chance for sight for Dustin

When Dustin was 7 he was having problems seeing, went to every doctor known to man.  No one knew what was going on.  First was a brain tumor than it was something else.  One doctor said he will be totally blind by 10.  We wanted a second opinion and a friend told us about this specialist in Boston.  So we took a chance and went.  The doctor never seen him before and just walked by us and said he had stargardts disease and he was going to prove it, by the end of the appointment he proved it.  Wow the mom was in tears to know why and have a diagnosis.  Well every year  it seems to get worse.  He sees a doctor yearly in Rochester NY but they don't have the resources  Boston has.  We went back to Boston when he was 16 and of course he said he was getting worse and added another problem on top of what he already had.  Rochester keeps saying they have nothing out there that will help him have a better life.  Boston says that they are coming up with new things every day.   The only problem with going to Boston every year  or every other year is that it is expensive.  Not only the  appointment is over $3,000 there's the problem with taking time off of work, gas money, and a hotel cause it takes 7hrs to get there from where we live.  It's just so expensive but we as a family want him to have every chance at having a chance to see for as long as he can.  So we would like to ask for help in getting him a better  chance at being able to  see as much as he can now at 21 and in the future.  At 21 he seems to being having more and more issues.  Believe me we will appreciate everything you all do for us, thanks so much.
