A Brooklyn father uses U-Haul rentals to help his community. Driven by his life experiences Dorian Muller, 49, has experienced firsthand what it is like to lose a loved one to gun violence. Since the death of his brother at the age of 16, the day-to-day nonprofit director has devoted all of his spare time to volunteering to help young men in his neighborhood. In particular, he focuses on the Farragut houses where he grew up. With an agenda to stay safe and thrive. Dorian rents his U-Haul several times a month, distributes groceries, and does outreach for young men at risk. Muller recognizes himself in these young men. “When I was a child, I sometimes had trouble buying food because my mother was a drug abuser.” Dorian vowed to ensure that the people in his community had access to food. He recognizes how essential it is for everyone to have food. Dorian is also aware of the significance of having positive role models who can encourage and support those around them. Dorian does both effortlessly as a result. Dorian is a selfless individual who genuinely wants to assist everyone, not just those in his community. Dorian has done many noble things to help others. He is a man who acts. His actions are continuously shown through his support and guidance of individuals he come across.Dorian has assisted numerous families without asking for praise. He simply acts in accordance with morality. He is the male figure who demonstrates to others how to act positively.
This Go Fund Me was created to help Dorian reach his goal of owning a van and continue to help people in the community.
