A Christmas Miracle for Cruz
Donation protected
For those unaware, the Romero family have been going through a parent's nightmare.
While riding quads celebrating Thanksgiving, a quad flipped over and landed on sweet Cruz.
On December 1st, Cruz was taken to Loma Linda Children's Hospital to undergo surgery.
They found internal trauma and two major lacerations to his pancreas and small intestine.
They had to put an NG tube through his nose into his stomach to pump out the fluid, blood, and gasses and he hasn't been able to eat or drink anything these last 13 days, while also being in a world of pain.
He is doing better but still has more surgeries and a long recovery in his future, so Cody and Ashley are trying to have Cruz transported to CHOC or CHLA, to be closer to home.
Not wanting to leave Cruz alone, they've had to be away from Wyatt all this time with the exception of a few visits and neither have been working these last few weeks.
As of now, we don't have a timeline for when they will be going home and ready to start the journey to recovery.
Anyone that knows the Romero's, knows how incredible and loving they are. They would give the shirt off their backs without any hesitation.
We're making this GoFundMe to help support the Romero family in their time of need.
