Give the Gift of Hope as Your Last Gift of Christmas This Holiday Season

This has been a year of unprecedented upheaval for the people of Afghanistan with the collapse of the Afghan state as the Taliban overtook the country's government, forcing over 600,000 refugees to flee to safe haven in other countries.

At this time of year when messages of hope and gratitude abound, we ask you to consider giving the gift of hope to the Afghan refugees currently waiting on domestic U.S. military bases (~80,000, with more on foreign military bases).

Your donation to Women for Afghan Women (WAW) will mean the difference to many waiting to gain refugee status and eventual asylum, or determine whether they will be deported back to Afghanistan to face the brutal reality of life in a failed state under Taliban control.

WAW is the only Afghan-led 501(c)(3) organization on the East Coast, and provides direct services such as food, clothes, transportation, shelter, and domestic violence relief aid, especially to those who cannot be served by the relocation agencies (currently 85% of stateside refugees).
