Project Sweep Up Nyc Communites

Hello to each and every one of you that will come across this campaign and read this request. My name is Shawn Dayle, I am the Founder and Executive Director of a start up Non-Profit organization called Project Sweep-Up Nyc.

Most New Yorker's are aware of the city's long standing and almost legendary struggle with garbage, excessive amounts of trash, dirt, debris, single use plastic bottles & containers, cigarette and pedestrian litter on our streets, sidewalks, transit bus stop waiting areas, green & brown spaces, storm drain covers, building entrances and even our subway system. This struggle has led to another serious issue that New Yorkers having to deal with as well. The proliferation of rats in our city.

Project Sweep-up Nyc was born out of

this environmental struggle that I just

described above. Our organization can best be described as a mobile environmental clean up group, dedicated to eradicating the excessive garbage, random curbside trash, food, bottles, cigarettes, overflowing trash containers and debris from our communities that we live in.

We sweep, sanitize, bag up, recycle and remove the sidewalk trash, gutter litter, storm drain refuse, curbside waste, spill over from trash cans. remove slip and fall hazards, clean out empty lots and collect discarded cans.

This is a long term project that requires organization and most importantly financing. 2024 is our target launch date. The funds that we are trying to raise will be used to purchase Vehicles to transport workers n volunteers to different communities. There will also be the purchase cleaning equipment, uniforms dust masks, work gloves and protective eye wear.

As the founder & executive director of this project I am sincerely asking you for a go fund me donation for a project that will result in a city that is cleaner and greener A city that is free from random trash, a city that is walkable, healthier, and much cleaner for our residents, visitors and future generations to come.
