A Clinical Boxing Experience: We are growing!

The Self-Care Lab Boxing Club was created in 2016. We opened our doors to the community, in January 2017! Since then, we have trained approximately 10-12k athletes and mental health professionals!

As many of you may know, our first location (Pomona) was sold and replaced by a professional boxer and their team.

Our physical doors were closed for one year, however, we continued training. TSCL athletes, youth and community members were invited to box and fitness training, free of charge. TSCL provided all of the equipment and "set-up shop," at Memorial Park, (Claremont, CA.). Later, an opportunity presented itself, in the form of 488 sqft, in Montclair, CA. After months of rejections, TSCL accepted the "start-up" offer.

With your previous crowdfunding donations and redevelopment support from Birch Tree United (Gladstone R., contractor) and G.V.E., Inc. (Sam G., electrician), and a host of TSCL teammates, we redesigned an office suite and turned "it" into a boxing gym. Our new logo and branding, designed by Nicho Valdez of "Six Points Union," has also become a sign of healing and new beginnings. TSCL could not have continued without your help. So, thank you!

Today, we are growing daily! We are maximizing the space and redesigning the plan for safety in our new community. Yes, the plan is to expand on acreage and build a TSCL Compound or industrial property. However, today, we need your support!

Your donation will support and cover our monthly overhead, replacing worn equipment, our current monthly storage cost of $440/month (storing larger equipment, boxing ring, etc.) and help us with administrative and clinical training!

2023- Quarter 1, we have selected new teammates and Board Members to help us rewrite the plan to prepare for expansion. We look forward to sharing this with you.
