A "cup of Joe" for Can-man Joe's funeral cost

My brother Joseph Bottis, better known to some as can man Joe, was recently found deceased in the Webster Commons parking lot of Webster, MA. He was 39 years old. There is an open investigation to uncover the truth behind this untimely tragedy. My brother was homeless at the time and had few belongings. The burden of the funeral costs will fall on his disabled mother, Elizabeth Sanchez of Webster, and myself.

 

Joe loved Webster very much. Even while he was homeless, he did his part to care for and clean up the community. Many will remember his kind greetings around the town. Some may remember that he had bipolar disorder. He had a hard life coupled with his mental illness, so he fell into trouble from time to time and is no stranger to homelessness. Joe would never hurt anyone, so it is a shame to see his life taken from him.

 

It's a significant burden to ask of anyone. But if everyone who knew Joe would be so kind as to offer a few dollars, at least enough for a cup of joe, it would make the burden on my family so much easier.
