About our film:

A Dishonest Days Work is a slapstick comedy short film about a 19 year old girl named Rachel needs to find a way to make money to help her struggling father from working himself to death just so Rachel and her 5 year old sister can have food on the table. Desperate to find any source of money for her dad, she's given a golden opportunity when a shop keeper leaves the key in the door of the shop by accident while he leaves to seemingly take his daughter to a doctors appointment.
As she's looking for money and things she can sell, as if struck with the worst dose of bad luck and karma possible... A police officer walks in. How will Rachel make money for her family now? Maybe... Just maybe. She can trick the police officer and other people into thinking she works here! But how long is left until the shop keepers inevitable return?

A short film about the governments failings to help those in need is now more important than ever with today's current political climate. Today people need help from their communities now more than ever in order to survive. Which is what my crew and I plan to bring with A dishonest days work, Which can only be done with your help!
