A Family’s Calling to Preach the Gospel

Recently, the Lord began to open an amazing door of ministry opportunity with Christ For All Nations to be trained, equipped and launched into mass evangelism to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to Africa and the nations of the world.

 In January 2020 Christ For All Nations will launch their first ever Evangelism Bootcamp. This six-month intensive training is a fast track to the mission field to open the door for Amy and I to preach the gospel in Africa alongside Christ For All Nation’s Gospel crusade team. This exclusive ground-breaking training is limited to only 50 select students.

Allow me to explain our hearts behind this GoFundMe campaign:

 Amy and I have a calling on our lives to preach the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The very first time we met, we introduced ourselves to each other and we began walking the streets of Pittsburgh sharing the Good News of Jesus with those the Lord led us to. We shared Christ and we prayed for the sick.  It was such an amazing moment in both of our lives!  We both, in our own hearts, walked away from that very first date knowing the Fingerprints of God were on this relationship.

Amy recently returned from her 5th missions’ trip, most recently to Morogoro, Tanzania (Africa).  I gave my life to Jesus back in 2003 and I have recognized the Lord’s call on my life since 2004.   Never did I realize it would be 16 years later and for such a time as this.  A few years back the Lord began to transition my life and I was obedient to the call God put on my life.  I resigned from my corporate career as I transitioned into the ministry God was preparing me for and calling me into.  

In this time, I began to sense so strongly the Lord’s call on my life into full time ministry.  I was hired at the local rescue mission in Pittsburgh, PA.

Amy and I just got married on 08/24/19. For our honeymoon, we decided to do everything possible to attend the “Light the Fire Again” Revival Conference in Pensacola, FL with men and women of God who have experienced revival.  The event was hosted by Christ For All Nations.  This is a ministry that was founded by Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke in 1974.  Under Reinhard Bonnke’s leadership there have been over 78 million decisions for people to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Reinhard Bonnke is a General in the faith.  Years back Reinhard Bonnke began to turn the ministry over to Evangelist Daniel Kolenda who has seen roughly 20 million souls come to know Jesus.  Wow…to God be the Glory!

Daniel Kolenda is the successor to Reinhard Bonnke, and he is the President of Christ For All Nations.  During the revival conference with roughly 15,000 in attendance, God opened doors for Amy and I to get called on stage, prayed over by Daniel Kolenda, Todd White and others and for Amy and I to get an opportunity to pray over all the single people believing for God’s best.

While we were at Light the Fire Again Revival Conference, Daniel Kolenda began to explain a vision the Lord gave him of a decade of “Double Harvest”.  What this means is within the next 10 years the number of souls that come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior will go from 78 million to 150 million.  

This Spirit of the Lord began to stir strongly within our own hearts of such an awesome vision.

For this “Decade of Double Harvest” to become a reality, Daniel Kolenda announced at this conference for the very first time a once in a lifetime opportunity for the very first Evangelism Bootcamp.

This is not an ordinary ministry school by any means.  This rigorous program is a first of its kind with Christ For All Nations.  Daniel Kolenda is designing this Evangelism bootcamp for he and his team to train, equip, launch and to give a platform for these evangelists to share the Gospel on the mission field.

Amy and I are willing to lay it all down for the sake of the Gospel.  After this Evangelism Bootcamp was announced we both began to sense this is from God and a once in a lifetime opportunity to preach Jesus Christ to the multitudes.  I applied and after going through the entire process I was selected as one of the initial 50 Evangelists that Christ For All Nations is preparing for mass Gospel crusade evangelism!  What a glorious honor that has been set before us.  

This once in a lifetime opportunity takes place in Orlando, FL this upcoming January 2020 through June 2020.  For this to happen, we will be giving up everything for the sake of Christ.  I will need to resign from my current career at Light of Life Rescue Mission and I will be attending this bootcamp in Orlando, FL apart from my wife and kids for 6 months.

Prior to us getting married, we said to each other: wherever the Lord sends us in our marriage we will answer His call.

Amy and I will have to deplete our savings and significantly more to be able to answer the call of God on our lives.  We firmly believe this is from God and of God.  We want to lay it all down for the sake of the Gospel. We believe in the provision of God.  We believe that God meets the needs of His people.  We believe that if God calls you to it; He will bring you through it. 

Amy and I began to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open the door financially to be able to pay for my full tuition, my missions trip to Africa in 2020, my room and board while in Orlando plus to help us cover our current minimum bills that we have with me in my current full time position.  We began to sense the Lord leading us to create a GoFundMe to share our hearts and to ask for your help financially for this amazing opportunity that God has opened for us to preach His Word throughout the nations of the earth.  

With this happening all so quickly we are being obedient to the call and although we are picking up extra jobs to earn additional income, this unfortunately won’t be nearly enough to pay for my tuition, missions trip, and help to cover the cost of our current minimum bills. 

School Tuition = $4540
Africa Missions Trip = $3400
Room and Board = $4000

All these costs in addition to our current expenses which we will still have, however I will not be working during these 6 months because almost all of my time will be invested in school, volunteer work and outreaches which are required during this Bootcamp. 

We believe in sowing into people’s lives and ministries and we believe that the Lord meets the needs of His people at times through the generous giving of others.

Amy and I ask you with humble hearts to partner with us both in prayer and financially as we follow the Great Commission that the Lord Jesus Himself spoke in Matthew 28 when He said “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations….”
