**Title: A Family Devastated by War, Pleading for Your Compassionate Hearts** Hello, my name is Dima Rashed Al-Dahdouh, and I am 19 years old. I lived with my family in Gaza, where we, like any simple family, dreamed of a dignified life, full of hope despite all the challenges. I was studying nursing at Gaza University, dreaming of becoming a nurse to relieve the suffering of others. My brother Mohammed, who is 21, was studying commerce, aiming to become an accountant to help carry our burdens. But he was injured in this war in his foot, and this injury led to a nerve problem, and he is in urgent need of treatment. But all our dreams were shattered beneath the rubble of our home, destroyed by the war. In one moment, we lost everything. We no longer have a roof over our heads, nor a place to seek refuge. Now, we are displaced, living in a crowded school under unbearable conditions. There is no clean water, not enough food, and no safety. Life has turned into a daily battle for survival.
My university, which I saw as my window to a better future, has turned to ruins. My dreams of becoming a nurse and helping others have vanished along with everything we lost. And my brother Mohammed, who dreamed of a bright future, finds himself lost as his university has been destroyed as well.
My father, who worked day and night to provide for us, has lost his job. We are now without income, without a home, and without hope. Everything we once relied on has disappeared. The days pass painfully slowly as we try to hold on, but the suffering and deprivation have become more than we can bear. It affects the limbs and makes them completely immobile. After that, he has difficulty walking and he has problems with his legs.
He needs medication and physical therapy as well, which we cannot afford.
I write to you now with tears in my eyes because I cannot bear to see my parents drowning in pain and helplessness. I cannot bear to see my brother losing hope. We are pleading for your compassionate hearts, asking you to reach out and help us. Every donation, no matter how small, can be a ray of hope in this overwhelming darkness.
You are Our only hope after God. We humbly ask you to stand with us in this difficult time and help us rebuild our shattered lives. voice
