Aloha, my name is Ivette Ivens, I live on Maui and I am raising funds for Julie Kalles family who lost everything in 08/08 wildfires on Lahaina, Maui. She will receive the funds straight to her bank account. A part of my volunteering for this cause was driving around all the shelters on the island, helping people create Venmo and Gofundme and writing down their stories. Julie has 5 kids, including a newborn boy. One of her sons was out with dad Dicky, seeking help from attorney volunteers while I took this photo. The money will be used to rebuild their life, pay for all the essentials, renting a new home until they get back on their feet.
