A Father’s Recovery

Hi guys,  most of you guys know my husband Daniel Amiel. Unfortunately, on July 6, 2023 we were down by river having a family swim to enjoy the day being with each other and to relieve some stress, Danny dove into the water like as most of you know he does ALL the time, just this time he wasnt so lucky. He ended up diving head first into a rock. Right away we knew something was wrong and called 911. Upon exiting the water, blood was gushing from his head and it seemed his arm may have been broken. Thank God there was a nearby hospital only two blocks from the spot he was hurt at. Christus hospital wasn’t equipped to treat severe trauma therefore was transported to Broke Army Medical Facility with a 9cm gash on top of his head and 3 damaged  disks in his neck and multiple severed nerves. He received six staples on the top of his head accompanied by a “cage” also fused to his spine.He will be in recovery for about 4 months with a neck brace on trying to get back to his feet. Most of you guys know hes a hardworking man who provides for his family and his 2 kids he try's to see as often as possible, Anything would help us out so he doesnt try to rush his recovery n try to get back to work.
