David and Aaron Wise have suffered the tragic, unexpected loss of their mentor, friend and father, Marc. On Friday, August 9, 2019 Marc was walking home from a routine trip to refill his coffee cup. With his coffee in one hand and a hoagie in the other he was struck by an out of control motor vehicle from behind. Marc was killed instantly and his children's lives are now forever changed.
Marc was able to watch his oldest son, David, graduate from Mount Pleasant High School in June but his absence will be felt when David begins college at the end of August. David will be pursuing a career in Computer Engineering at Delaware Technical University.
Aaron will turn 16 less than two weeks after suffering this tragic loss. Like his father, Aaron has a passion for education and learning. He plans to pursue a career in Elementary Education after High School. This summer, Aaron was selected to participate in a two week program at the University of Delaware for high school students who plan to major in education.
These boys are determined to reach their goals and continue to make their father proud as he watches over them from above.
