A Last Farewell Help Us Say Goodbye To My Father
Donation protected
With a heavy heart, I have just received news that I have unexpectedly lost my father, Carlos Hernandez Sanchez, at the age of 71 from a sudden cardiac arrest. As a son, husband, and father myself, I am completely devastated.
My father was a singer/songwriter, and music was a lifelong passion. From releasing his own records in the 80s to singing his favorite karaoke songs with family, he sang from the heart. From a very early age, he instilled in me that same passion and love for the arts, and his favorites very quickly became mine. Now, I pass this down to my own children and hope to keep his memory alive through his music. As a man of faith, he was also a family man and dedicated his life to his children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings.
As this news has come to me, I have been struggling to make ends meet with my wife and 2 kids. As a small business owner, I have felt the economy impact my finances and have not been able to recover and generate stable income for my family. We have exhausted our resources and savings with daily living expenses. So, a trip to California where my father lived is financially impossible. I would like to honor my father and his legacy by singing and playing his own songs at his funeral service. I now humbly ask for any contribution to help get us to California to grieve with family and help put my father to rest. No matter how big or small, anything will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving.
Assistance and contributions will go directly to immediate living costs such as: mortgage, utilities, food, gas, funeral, and memorial expenses.
We thank anyone who has read this far into my and my family’s story.
God Bless!
