A Father's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
I can’t even believe I have to make a post like this. You see these things happen on TV or to other people and most always think that can’t happen to me or mine until it actually does.
My father has suffered from a fall and it’s left him with a traumatic brain injury, fractured skull, nine fractures in his back, broken ribs, facial fractures, broken sinus cavity & pallet, jaw fracture, a tear in a main artery in his neck, and more. Once the swelling of his brain goes down, they plan on doing surgery on his back and another on his face to help with the reconstruction of his facial bones. He is the hardest working man that I know and anyone who knows him couldn’t agree more, and he is always one of the most giving.
My mother plans on being his main caretaker and with that, she will not be able to work as much as she would like or need to. He has a long, long road ahead of him. Even if you have taken the time to read this entire post and say a prayer, that is more than me and my family could ask for, truly. Thank you
