A Fathers Love To Remember: Alex King's Funeral and Transfer
Donation protected
Hi there! My name is Tracy and I am the middle daughter of Mr. Alexander King. It’s super hard not to get emotional while writing this!
My dad was a man like no other man I know!
My dad was a single father of 3 girls my older sister, myself and my younger sister. We are not his biological children but we are his ONLY children. Our story is long, tragic and to some unbelievable. Our mother was a very heavy drug addict. All 3 of us girls have different biological dads who we don’t know.
Alex was a very good friend to my mom during her hard life and was at the hospital when all 3 of us were born in Chicago Illinois.
My sisters and I lived our own tragic experiences and shared some tragic moments together living with our mother while she was living the lifestyle as a drug addict. We were young but we remember!
In 1990-91, child protective services was called to our Chicago apartment because my sisters and I had been as the apartment for days no food and our mother was no where to be found.
My older sister gave them Alex’s (our dad) number. He was told that we were going to be separated and put into foster homes. Alex said No! You’re not separating my girls. Him and my grandmother (his mom) flew in from Albuquerque New Mexico. Came and got us. And we were raised and lived with him ever since!
Our dad dedicated his LIFE to us girls! He never married, and never had a girlfriend that I can acknowledge until we were old enough to move out of his house. His life was us girls!
There is so much more to this story!
My dad was… is our angel! If it wasn’t for him I’m sure my sisters and I would either be dead, on drugs or prostitution!
Today we lost our dad! His wishes are to be laid to rest by him mom (our grandmother) who is laying to rest in Mobile Alabama. We are having two funerals, one where he lives now in Albuquerque New Mexico and then we have to have him transferred to Alabama for services there with family.
This is an extremely expensive process but my sisters and I are doing everything we can to make our dads last and basically the only thing he’s ever asked of us, come true!
We are asking our friends and family if you can, please help in anyway. We thank you and we love you ❤️
