A fight for Cody Bowman and all who love him

On Sunday October 22 2023, our world fell apart. Cody was hospitalized for what we thought was a just bad case of covid. While he did have covid, he was also diagnosed with HIV that had progressed to AIDS. On top of all that, the Pesumocystic Jiroveci Pneumonia (PJP) he had apparently been battling for four months took the new AIDS diagnosis to a bleak place. This was the number one killer of people with untreated HIV/AIDS. But we knew one thing above all else- Cody is a fighter. His T cell counts got shockingly low, but numbers cannot measure the person he is or his will to live. We came far too close to losing him, but Cody defied the odds, and is kicking Covid AND PJPs ass. Once he successfully overcomes that, he can begin therapy for HIV/AIDS.
So many have come together to offer their love and support, but we still have many new barriers to overcome. The medical bills are beyond anything we could imagine, and our income is going to be very minimal over the next few months. Our heads are struggling to stay above water, and we are asking for the support of our community.
Every penny will make a world of difference for the oncoming debt, and we are grateful to everyone and anyone who is able to help. We know not everyone has the resources to help financially, and we are grateful for any positive energy and thoughts sent as well. We love you all, and we couldn't get through this without you.
