A Fresh Start for Laura's Beloved Children

On 12/25/2024, my world was changed forever. I lost my sister and my best friend, Laura Kaitlyn Cahill. She was only 31. Laura was many things: a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a friend to so many wonderful people. There were so many things about my sister that made her special. She was an avid collector of all things pink and girly, and she had a great eye for finding things to add to her collection. She was my very best friend in the entire world and my trusted confidant who knew everything about me, and I knew everything about her. When our mom passed away 2 months ago, I drew strength from her, knowing that part of our mom would live on in her. She could be the one to tell me the things I forgot from my childhood about our beloved mother. I hope once the grief passes that I can remember more things about my mom.

In the midst of all of this, my sister left behind 3 wonderful kids - William (7), River (11mo), and Max. They were everything in the world to her, and now I will try to shepherd them as best as I can to honor her life. I want to try and move the kids back down to Florida, as there are too many bad memories here in Tennessee with the loss of their Nana and now their Mother. Anything donated will be used to help us move back to Florida and for the costs to give my sister a send-off she deserved.
