A Fresh Start for Malinda (Madewell) Holland

My name is Nicole and I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Malinda (Madewell) Holland, my mother's oldest and dearest friend. Very recently, Malinda unexpectedly lost her husband of 36 years. This comes following years of economic struggle and severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, which has left her unable to work, drive or complete simple tasks, such as cooking for herself, washing her hair or opening bottles. Malinda is a mother of two grown sons and a kind, loving and humble soul. She's not aware of this fundraiser and would likely object, but she needs our support as she grieves and strives to rebuild her life at 57 years old.

 

Malinda has very few belongings and would greatly benefit from donations of any size, so she can begin to acquire clothing, household essentials, and most importantly, focus on her health. Whether you know Malinda personally or not, I know she'll be deeply touched by your generosity. She deserves a happy, healthy and independent future.
