A Fresh Start for Victims of Abuse

Hello, my name is Ria Wilson. Hope you're well!

I am creating a movement and business for women who have been victims of abuse called: New Beginnings Life Center.

It has been my life's mission to create safe spaces for women to heal, recover, process, & be restored from the trauma of abuse. I have personally encountered abuse in my life and through several support systems have received the help needed to reclaim my personal power as a woman and a woman of color.

I processed my healing and recovery alongside being a single mother raising 2 children on the South-side of Chicago. By God's grace I have managed to overcome what was meant to destroy my potential and purpose.

I have committed my life to reaching back to as many women as possible through this work that I love.

I am now pursuing my Bachelors degree in Psychology and have every intention to use my education and life's journey to push women forward in their complete healing, transformation, and empowerment.

This fundraiser will support the following:

• The completion of my educational journey. I have an anticipated graduation date of May 2022.
• The complete establishing of New Beginnings Life Center (501c3).

This includes:

• The purchasing of a house.
• Furnishing the house.
• Program materials.
• Hiring of Staff & Support Teams
• Technology & Security Systems

I look forward to this campaign as I am excited about fully supporting women in their journey towards wholeness and a new beginning.
