A Friend in Need: Support Nicole Grant’s Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Our dear friend and colleague, Nicole Grant, has always been a beacon of strength, kindness, and positivity. Whether as a dedicated friend or an incredible therapist, Nicole has always been there to lend a hand, offering support and encouragement to everyone she meets. Now, it’s our turn to help her in her time of need.
In November, Nicole was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a benign but life-changing tumor that has grown too large for radiation and now requires surgery. This tumour has already caused Nicole to lose 60% of her hearing and will leave her completely deaf on one side after the surgery. It also presses against her cerebellum and facial nerve, causing balance issues, dizziness, and severe facial nerve pain.
Nicole is scheduled for a highly specialized surgery at the UCSD Acoustic Neuroma Clinic in California on March 11th. While the surgery will give her a chance for recovery, it comes with a significant financial burden. Between medical expenses, lost income, and the need for additional support during her recovery, Nicole and her husband are facing unforeseen challenges.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help cover the costs of Nicole’s surgery, recovery, and lost wages. Any contribution, big or small, will make a world of difference in helping Nicole heal and get back on her feet.
Let’s come together to support Nicole, just as she has always supported us. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
