A Fundraiser for Pastor Owen Lynch Jr.

Psalm 41:3 - "The Lord sustains them on their sickbed; in their illness you restore them to full health."

This fundraiser is for our Pastor Owen Lynch Jr. who has been diagnosed with Melanoma. The diagnosis is now a Stage 4 Melanoma, which has now spread throughout the body.

For those of us who received Owen in Toronto, Canada, we know and love the story that brought him across the pond from England to his beautiful wife. Both he and Heather have built a life here in Canada with their three amazing children (Josiah, Jordan and Jalyssa). The family has exemplified service to others - within the community, the workplace, the extended family and the church.

Owen has been a member of the First Seventh Day Baptist Church of Toronto for over 20 years and answered his call to Pastoral ministry assuming the role of Senior Pastor in 2018.

Affectionately known as Pastor O, our pastor is a teacher and has instilled in the church he leads the mantra to Develop Kingdom-minded, Spiritually Faithful, Reproductive Disciples of Christ.

Pastor O thrives on equipping believers for ministry. He made the difficult decision to step back from serving the church in his capacity as Senior Pastor this year and his condition has changed dramatically in the past few months. With a rigorous treatment plan in place, there have been unforeseen costs related to medical fees and transportation. This account has been started so that others including the body of believers can contribute to supporting Pastor O and his family.

Though Canadian healthcare provides many benefits, there are some progressive treatment plans that are not covered by the system. As a result, we are asking for your help.

We in the Toronto SDB Church believe in the bible and therefore in the power of prayer. Pastor O is a man of deep faith, humble, smart, talented and full of love for others. We are asking for your help to support him in this battle against cancer at this time.
