A fursuiters worst fear:Please help us help Myrtle

Hello, I am Thabo Meerkat, and I am raising funds for Myrtle, a Dutch fursuiter who regularly uses their suit to spread joy and happiness through the community.

I was being approached by our mutual friends after a terrible incident at NordicFuzzCon, one unlike any other thing I have heard in my over 25 years in the fandom. And this is the reason of this GoFundMe.

Just like so many others, Myrtle went to a furry convention to enjoy herself in the company of her friends. Fun and fursuiting. However during the convention, one individual stole her fursuit-head from the fursuit-lounge. We know it was a targeted attempt, since the head was out of view, under several other heads. After that, they took it into the bathroom to have their way with it, climaxing in it, before returning it to the location within the lounge.

Her suit was often used with children events, and other charities, and this traumatic experience has rendered the head unusable, both physical, but also mentally.

The convention itself is doing everything in their power to help us along to resolve this case and to take measures to prevent this in the future. However, for Myrtle, the deed has been done.

Together with her friends, I am helping them by setting up this campaign to get her a new head. Several makers already approached us, willing to help.
