A Gift for Bella

Sweet Bella is only 10-Years Old----Bella was diagnosed at Christmas of 2021 with Leukemia.

A couple of months prior to the diagnosis. Sweet Bella had been dealing with intermittent leg pain which several doctors could not figure out.  Sweet Bella went on to say... "What if I am someone who teaches the medical world something?"  In many ways she has!  Bella had one doctor who suggested that she "redirect" the pain to the other leg.  After a MRI showed spots of Cancer on her spine and legs,  Bella was diagnosed with Leukemia.  The young doctors response to her diagnosis..... Bella has taught me so much and I want to apologize to her.  She has taught me no matter how young the patient, you don't just talk to the parents, you need to listen to the kids.  Going forward I will do that. 


Sweet Bella and her family have a long journey ahead, she has 2.5 years of intensive, aggressive Chemo treatment.

 

Bella has a twin brother Jake and an older sister Olivia who are her biggest cheerleaders. Her Mom, Chrissy and Dad, Mike, are very grateful for the outpouring of love for Bella and the family! I have created this go fund me to help alleviate some of the financial stress of this journey. We want the family to be able to focus on treatment and spend all the time together.

 

Bella is a fantastic human with lots of love and appreciation for all people. She loves hearing stories and learning more and more about everyone. Bella has such an appreciation for people! As you know, she is more concerned about everyone else than herself. She is saving every card she gets!! Thank you, everyone!!! The love, prayers, thoughtfulness, kindness, and support mean everything to the family!!
