A Gift for Sasha’s Birthday!!

More than 15 years ago, Sasha was at a landfill when he heard some pitiful cries.

Looking for the source he found 4 puppies covered in trash. He could not believe the cruelty of people that would deliberately dump these innocents to die from starvation and exposure.

He took the frail little ones to his apartment. They thrived under his care.

People heard about this man who loved animals - they began dumping puppies in front of his apartment. Then came phone calls about injured dogs, chained dogs , starving abused dogs - all needing a savior.

And so it began. A sanctuary was born.

Sasha is still taking care of over 700 dumped and abandoned dogs.

Sasha never expected his life to change so drastically but he has dedicated his life to all these innocent dogs who need daily care.

Together, we can honor the tireless work of a true hero and give unwanted dogs a second chance at life.
