My name is Mega, 28 years old from Indonesia and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart for your support and help.

On October, I get diagnosed with acute leukemia (AML M2 with FLT3-ITD mutation), a fast-growing and aggressive type of cancer. The doctors said a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) best cure after doing chemotherapy. However, the cost is over 2 Billion Rupiah, and the procedure with a half-match donor is can't do in Indonesia.

I asked about other options, and the doctor suggested intensive chemotherapy. They said there’s a high chance the cancer could come back within two years. However, I can’t only rely on chemotherapy because my body might become resistant to it. That's why BMT is good option to do after finish chemo protocol.

After a lot of thought I decided to go for intensive chemotherapy, I’ve finished my first round of chemo (Induction). Unfortunately, the results still show remain blast cell 32% still far from remission. While I'm doing re-induction sadly i get many complication, infection and inflammation like posterior epistaxis, pulmonary embolism and I already did surgery for that recently.

Doctor change the plans of my Chemotherapy to non intensive (4-6 cycle) with Target Theraphy medicine because i have flt3-itd mutation which have bad prognosis.

Sadly the Target Therapy Medicine not get cover fully and really expensive which cost 25.000.000 IDR and need to use it for 3 cycle doctor said its necessary because the medicine will help my chemo work effectively and reduce the cell cancer to grow and spread aggressively and get chance of remission.

I've finished first cyle of non intensive chemo without target therpahy medicine and the result still show high 17,29%. I really need target therpahy medicine to help my condition get better and my chemo make it work effective.

with my condition right now, I can't work normal like before. All friends, family still try to help make it happen for me. I'm really hope to get help and support from all of you.

Depsite my heart, I really want to get recovery and become healthy again. There's so many things i still can't do and really want to explore a lot.
