A Girl With A Dream To Go To College

Hello everyone, my name is Naziah Grandberry.

 

I'm going to be completely honest. The reason for me starting this Go Fund Me is because college tuition is quite expensive. Some people would probably ask, "Why didn't you apply for scholarships?" And the answer is I have applied to multiple, but I didn't get accepted for any, but one, which isn't enough to pay for my room and board (lbvs).

 

College is more than a classroom. College for me is a place where I can be an independent young lady and getting a good education.It includes meeting new individuals from all origins and with diverse interests, boosting my chances of interacting with people in my possible job sector. Knowing the proper people can help me achieve me goals. I'll never know who will assist me in landing my ideal job or who will link me with the appropriate person who will. College prepares me, both intellectually and socially, for my career and my adult life. Living away from home for the first time will give me that independence and freedom that will allow me to try things that I didn’t feel totally comfortable doing, like joining clubs, going to school outings, etc. New discoveries could lead to new passions and potential career paths after college! I really want the opportunity to gain that college experience.
