~A Good Leg for our friend Jeff~

Hello!

If you are reading this, then likely you care for our dear friend Jeff and his beautiful wife Susie and precious baby boy Rowan like we do. 

As most of you know, when Jeff was 2 years old he was in a mowing accident and they had to amputate his leg at the age 6. Unfortunately, the prosthetic leg he has now doesn't allow him to do a lot and it's not always the safest. 

I look at Jeff and think about the qualities that shine in him as a result of the loss of his leg and other hard times in his life.. God has given him humility and grace and a solid sense of humor. To me he is a testimony of what God can do in a heart that’s known deep pain, because it’s only by His grace that we can go through dark times and still choose to have a grateful heart.

We have had a growing desire in our heart to bless him with a good leg. A leg that he can run and play with his children, care for his wife, climb stairs easily, or go biking and hiking in! A leg that can give him more options for providing for his family and whatever else he may want to do after his whole life of not being able to do so many things.

The leg we are praying for is a more expensive one that he won’t even have to think about walking! It has a computer chip type technology inside the knee that knows when to move with it's hydraulic design.

Additionally to this Go Fund Me, we as a church fellowship/friends in the community will be taking church offerings and building barns to help raise the total amount needed.
