A Gun Buyback for Norwalk CT to make us safer

Hi, my name is Peter Murchison of the Wilton Quaker Meeting, just north of Norwalk, CT. We are partnering with the Norwalk Police to run a buyback on Saturday, 10/28. We need funding to buy gift cards to give to people that are voluntarily giving up their guns. The guns collected will be destroyed and the pieces donated to Swords to Plowshares NE, who will use a forge and blacksmith tools to turn them into gardening tools! Do you know that 2/3 of all gun deaths in the US are suicides? Imagine removing unwanted weapons from these potential tragedies. Guns stolen from cars and homes are often used in crimes. You know the tragedies that CT has endured from gun violence. Help us to remove unwanted guns and make Norwalk safer!
