Help Us Create a Haven for Hope: Renovate "Sveti Bartolomej" for People with Disabilities

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. We are "Sveti Bartolomej," a non-profit association in Knin, Croatia, dedicated to providing support and care for individuals with disabilities.

Founded in 1999, our mission is simple yet profound: to offer assistance and create a welcoming space for children, youth, and adults facing challenges like muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and various other physical disabilities. We believe in inclusivity, embracing diversity irrespective of nationality, religion, or any other affiliation.

Currently employing 62 compassionate individuals, we serve over 300 members, focusing on the care of children, youth, and adults with developmental challenges. Our projects, including the "Right to Life" initiative, aim to empower our community, offering essential support and fostering a sense of belonging.

Why We Need Your Help:

Our space is limited, and we're bursting at the seams with the growing number of individuals seeking our support. Young adults with developmental challenges transition into adulthood, and our existing facilities are just not enough.

We are launching a crucial project to renovate and adapt our space for adults with disabilities. This project includes creating accessible toilets, a sports activity room, an individual access room, a maintenance workshop, and revamping our hallway to serve as both a changing room and storage space.
