A heart for Megan and Alice

Hello, my name is Chealsey Sanchez and I’m starting this fundraiser to help my friend Megan and her daughter Alice with their monthly bills and Megan’s medical expenses.

Seven months ago Megan was diagnosed with heart failure. She has four blood clots with one in each major artery and has an ejection rate of only 10%.

Megan has been put on the transplant list and is awaiting a new heart. Since her diagnosis she have had several procedures one of which is the ballon pump that is keeping her heart beating now. This has caused her to be in and out of the hospital many times. Currently Megan is at Mayo in Rochester until she can have a transplant, at which point she will have to remain there for three month of recovery. Two of those three months will be spent in a rented apartment with a caregiving which will be her sister.

I am hoping to raise these funds to take away some of the financial burden that is on her and her family. All well wishes and prayers are also greatly appreciated.
