A Heartfelt Plea for Michael and Rachel Sprague

It’s hard to imagine how, in the blink of an eye, everything you’ve worked for could be ripped away. Yet, that’s the reality Michael and Rachel Sprague now face. After losing their home in Florida and their belongings to the devastating force of Hurricane Helene, they find themselves navigating the unimaginable—homeless and without any of the physical reminders of the life they’ve built.

But despite the overwhelming loss and the grief of watching their lives change so drastically, Michael and Rachel have remained pillars of grace, hope, and unwavering faith. Their resilience is nothing short of inspiring. Even now, amidst their personal tragedy, they are a shining light to those around them, always willing to offer a helping hand, a word of encouragement, and a smile.

Michael and Rachel have always been the first to give back—to their family, friends, and community. Whether it’s lending support to a neighbor in need, volunteering for local causes, or simply being the people others can turn to in hard times, they’ve always shown up. And now, they need us to show up for them.

The road ahead of them is long. They must rebuild not only their home but their entire lives, and they’re doing it with the same faith and love they’ve always had. But the reality is, they can’t do it alone. Every dollar counts, and no act of generosity is too small. Your contribution will go directly toward helping Michael and Rachel find stability again—whether that’s temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, or rebuilding their home from the ground up- the floors alone in their home is estimated to be at least $11,000 to replace. Every penny will go towards rebuilding or basic living expenses while waiting on their home to be rebuilt.
