A Heavenly Farewell: Honoring Maria with Love
Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share that our beloved grandma has passed away. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandma, and proud great-grandma. Her life was a testament to love, faith, and family.
Maria Elena Arroyo was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and moved to the U.S. with hopes of creating a better life for herself and her family. For over 30 years, she worked as a cafeteria worker, where she was deeply loved by both staff and students. Her warm smile and kind heart made every meal special, and she always found joy in nurturing others.
Grandma dedicated her life to God, finding joy in her faith and sharing the word of God with everyone around her. She was the kind of person who never missed a Sunday service, always eager to uplift others with her kindness and warmth. Her unwavering faith despite trials and tribulations was a source of strength for our family, and her love was a beacon that drew us all closer together.
Family meant everything to her. She adored her children and was an incredible grandma who always prioritized time with her grandkids. Whether it was making her famous tamales, telling stories of her childhood, or simply sharing a laugh, every moment spent with her was a treasure. As a great-grandma, she continued to create cherished memories with her great granddaughter and would babysit her everyday.
In her honor, we are raising funds to help cover the costs of her memorial service. We want to celebrate her life and legacy in a way that reflects her generosity and love for others. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us honor her memory and continue her spirit of giving.
Thank you for considering a donation. Your support means the world to us as we navigate this difficult time and celebrate the extraordinary life of our grandma. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
