Hello, my name is Patrick James Marcel and I am fundraising for my hospital expenses, I was rushed to St. Luke’s Global City last August 1st due to shortness of breath. I've been battling with heart disease for more than five years, and had a stroke twice, and eventually had a pacemaker inserted to control my heart rate. I got married in the Philippines last 2018. I was actually doing well with regular follow up, and maintenance medications.

On August 1st, I began feeling unwell and had shortness of breath so they rushed me to St. Luke’s GC (Philippines), and this is when our present situation began. I was diagnosed to have Heart Failure with reduced Ejection fraction from Ischemic Cardiomyopathy, and Cardiac Dysrhythmia from Atrial Fibrillation. I underwent an Angiogram and had one vessel Angioplasty, and stayed at the ICU. After that, while under observation in my regular room, my blood pressure dropped, and apparently went into Cardiogenic shock, and was also diagnosed with Pneumonia. I was then transferred back to the ICU, where he is right now, still under observation. My heart rate is still irregular. I'm alert and awake, and still in good spirits, but is not stable enough to be in a regular room.

Thankfully, we have coverage by my wife company’s health insurance, however we had maxed it out already, at Php165,000 (approximately $3000USD). Our current running bill is at Php1,300,000+++ (approximately $20,000), and as the days go by, I am struggling financially and trying to find ways how to cover this. My wife haven’t been able to go to work ever since my confinement. I'm here in the Philippines right now. My relatives can not come here due to financial matter also.
