A Helping Hand During Andrew O’Briens Recovery.

Donation protected
Hello all. My name is Aimee. My cousin, Andrew O’Brien, was involved in a life altering motorcycle vs SUV accident on July 5th. He has spent everyday since the accident in the hospital.

First things first…Andrew is alive! He has been focusing on his recovery, so many of you are likely hearing about his accident here first. As I am about to ask you to open your wallets, it’s important to note that Andrew appreciates your love, prayers, well wishes, happy thoughts and all the healing vibes you have sent and will send his way. It is enough and it is appreciated.

For those of you who are in a position to help, Andrew would be most grateful!

The story:
Andrew, his girlfriend (Andreea) and two of their friends went out for a short, leisurely ride around dusk on the evening of July 5th, 2023. They rounded a bend to find an SUV coming at them in the wrong lane. Andrew was the lead bike and he took the SUV nearly head on. He was thrown from his bike, making impact with the windshield/upper frame of the vehicle before being flung about 30’ into the ditch.

Andrew’s left arm took the brunt of the impact. Stretched and crushed nerves, broken bones, a smashed hand, an injury to his knee and C7… He has had multiple surgeries. His arm will never be the same but, by the grace of god, he is alive and the Drs think that with time, therapy and more surgeries, he may regain some use of that arm.

Here’s the ask…
Due to the accident, Andrew is unable to make an income. He’s doing all of the right things regarding insurance and what not but he’s trying to figure out what his new normal will look like when he’s released from the hospital, as he has a long recovery ahead and he’ll no longer be able to perform the duties of his occupation.

The reality is, it’ll be months before he sees any money and he has no idea what that will be when the time comes. In the mean time, bills don’t stop.

They need our help to cover living expenses, car payments, gas money and hospital bills during the interim.

Your donations will make all the difference in bridging the gap to allow him to heal physically, mentally and emotionally.

Thank you in advance.

Gratefully yours, Aimee.
