A Helping Hand for Yvonne

Hi, I'm Yvonne Morris. I've been through some really life changing events recently and I am needing some help.

My husband Ron and I went on a long awaited vacation in September where I had an accident that required emergency surgery to my left wrist for broken bones that has left me with major medical bills even though I have insurance through my work. I have been going through physical therapy to get use of my hand back and as such, I have not been back to work yet. We were able to keep up with day to day expenses through the small amount Ron received from Social Security as he was retired/disabled.

On November 22nd, Ron passed away unexpectedly, 12 days before our 26th wedding anniversary, which is on the third of December, and I am lost and alone. To add to the distress, we didn't have any life insurance to cover expenses. As per Ron's wishes, I had him cremated, but now I have no way of affording the charges for that.

I have been able to get most of my day to day expenses and bills paid for the month of December by what we had left in the bank, but now things are really getting tight financially. I am in the process of selling some things to help raise some money, but it won't be enough.

I am hopeful that soon I can get back to work and help myself out of this situation, but it has and is a hard and lonely path I walk, and I have come to realize that I need some help.

I have always been able to bounce back from the hard knocks life has handed me, but these last few months and days have been hard without my husband Ron being here to help guide me and without his love, I am truly struggling.

Any amount that can be given will be greatly appreciated and will only go to my medical bills and Ron's funeral expense.
