Dearest Family, Friends, and Community
We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, community member, sister of god and the community Barbara Goudelock and her granddaughter Alaniyah unexpectedly lost their house and dog (Rocky) in recent house fire in Mount Clemens on April 4,2024 early morning hours. We are so devastated by the loss of Rocky he leaves behind a loving family .
Ms Barbara has been always like a mom to all that have known and have had the opportunity to meet her personally she has been a resident of mount Clemens and the community over 60+ years and for the past 17 years she’s stepped up tremendously in helping raising her granddaughter Alaniyah on her own. Ms Barbara has always been god fearing and attended church she’s brightened so many lives of many that know her and even strangers who don’t she’s always been caring loving and always looking to find ways to give back and helping others feeding families in need cooking for those in need going above and beyond to help others in need.
Ms. Barbara and her granddaughter Alaniyah are free spirited and boundlessly loving people who can light up any room with their luminous Energy. loyal to family and friends. Always caring so deeply for others whose paths they cross. Ms Barbara has been raising her granddaughter on her own and is retired and on a fixed income her granddaughter is devastated by the loss of her dog and house, clothes EVERYTHING so suddenly with graduation and prom just right around the corner.
The family is beyond devastated of Ms Barbara and Alaniyah’s loss of their house, and dog so unexpectedly we were not prepared for the unexpectedly cost of clothes, food and essential items they will need to recover from being displaced from the fire and the support Alaniyah will need as she prepares for graduation and prom this year during this time.
We are seeking donations to help both Barbara and her granddaughter with clothes, food, essentials, and any donations that can help with helping this family get back on their feet because they definitely have a long road ahead of them.
Whether you know Ms Barbara and Alaniyah as family, friend, church member, or as a beneficiary of their organization, your support is needed to help honor support the both of these ladies and honor the legacy of their loving dog “Rocky” who has passed away from the fire. Ms Barbara and family have touched the lives of so many through their dedication and contributions to the community. Now is the time to show up for them, cover them in love, and ensure “Rocky” is able to rest in peace.
We must raise $20,000 immediately to cover the cost support and care for Barbara and her granddaughter Alaniyah.
We are hoping to raise a total of $50,000 in these following months to cover ongoing support for Alaniyah and Barbara’s family in this tragic time.
