A Hero's Family

On 26 September 2019, my little brother lost a long and terrible battle, at the age of 28.  He left behind two children, ages 2 and 10, for whom he cared so deeply that he would do anything.
My brother was a veteran whose identity was generated from actions more than words.  He loved greatly and made a huge impact in the lives of those around him.  Everyone he knew was touched in a big way, and he loved the same.
Joe Cook was kind, humble, and skilled with his hands.  Most things he touched turned out better, and he loved to demonstrate this with cars.  The lives of those around him were improved by knowing him as well, and we are all worse off for his sudden absence.
Joe was a veteran that struggled with PTSD and demons few understand, let alone experience.  He fought valiantly in an unfair battle, striving to shield those around him from pain and need.  He gave everything he had, and more, to take care of those he loved.  As his brother, I can tell you, reader, that he loved his children more than anything in this world.
His family is creating this GoFundMe to establish a centralized location where friends, family, veterans, fellow bikers, parents, and everyone else who would like to help, can donate to the wellness and future of Joe's children.  Joe was stolen from the daily lives of Daniel and Samuel, but we can still help to look out for his children while Joe is away.
100% of your donation will go toward Daniel and Samuel.  We, his friends and family, have committed staunchly to looking out for and taking care of Daniel and Samuel.  You can help, too.
Thank you to everyone who is visiting, contributing to, and sharing this page and information with others.  I have set a goal of $1 because we do not have a limit or goal for your kindness.
There is a funeral service for Joe on Thursday, 3 October 2019 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  For more information about the service, please reach out or comment below requesting.  Thank you.
